Stadler Rail:

Plywood on Rails Transportation Design

down
The LPCC (Lightweight Plywood Comfort Chair) was developed based on the realisation that the use of moulded plywood as a structural component in the railway sector is a meaningful alternative to conventional construction methods.
Stadler Rail:
The LPCC transforms molded plywood into a theme. By prominently encasing the plywood around the exterior of the backrest, it becomes a stylish design feature. Paired with external fastening elements for the armrests, folding tables, and footrests, the overall look is reminiscent of design classics from the previous century.

Cleanliness
The head cushions in second class are very easy to clean and always look clean.

Branding
The otherwise discreet branding is prominently featured on the removeable seat cushions in the first class.
