The largest Swiss railway company is testing new seating concepts for long-distance trains, set to be introduced in the 2030s. The goal is to meet the diverse needs of passengers – from privacy and workspaces to meeting points and additional storage space. Full-scale models combined with virtual reality create an immersive experience, enabling realistic trials by customers. The results from tests and market research will feed directly into the planning and procurement of new trains.

We want to create a diverse offering with more comfort for everyone – commuters, leisure travellers, and people with special needs should feel equally at ease with us. And all this, without compromising seating capacity. In this challenging balancing act, Nose has supported us with their extensive experience.
